Brave New World is a novel written in 1931 by Aldous Huxley and published in 1932. It is set in London in the year AD 2540 (632 A.F.—"After Ford"—in the book).

This novel belongs to the genre of utopian literature. A utopia is an imaginary society organized to create ideal conditions for human beings, eliminating hatred, pain, neglect, and all of the other evils of the world.
Brave New World is a vision of a future in which a world government is able, through scientific methods, to totally control people’s lives, from the moment of conception to the moment of death. This happens until one of the characters challenges the system and (he) meets “a savage” . At this point the reader confronts a dilemma; is feewill ( the ability to choose) really worthy?
